Knight-Swift Transportation’s First Annual Truck-a-Thon

During the month of October, Knight-Swift Transportation is changing kids’ health with its first annual Truck-a-Thon. Drivers from across the country have the opportunity to support their local Children’s Miracle Network Hospital for every mile logged! Drivers are encouraged to ask donors to pledge to donate for every mile the driver logs. You can donate in support of the drivers at Swift Transport – Sumner and make a difference in the lives of kids and families at Seattle Children’s.

Knight-Swift Transportation is the industry’s largest full truckload company; operating with an extensive fleet of roughly 17,000 tractors, 58,000 trailers, and employing 23,000 people. In addition to operating North America’s largest tractor fleet, Knight-Swift serve a wide range of customers in a broad array of industries. Knight-Swift joined Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals in 2019. Through its partnership with CMN Hospitals, Knight-Swift is committed to cause, compassion, community, and creating a chain-reaction of support.

In its first year of fundraising with Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, Knight-Swift Transportation raised $468,537. These funds help children’s hospitals protect the health of future generations by allowing hospitals to fund the greatest needs the moment they need it. Thank you to the many Knight and Swift employees who generously donate through payroll giving and change kids’ health!

Changing kids’ health through children’s hospitals isn’t just about helping those in critical situations – it’s also about the research, preventative care, health and safety education that help build healthier communities. By improving medical treatments, equipment and facilities, children’s hospitals can not only address the most challenging health issues of our day, but also prevent and prepare for those to come. Funds raised by Knight-Swift Transportation in 2020 were invested in these key areas at children’s hospitals.
